Dedicated to fostering Canadian innovation, we are committed to seeking out new partnerships and technologies that align with our existing offerings and deliver substantial value to our customers. In this blog post, our resident expert, Alireza Pasha, will provide an in-depth exploration of the latest additions of 3D Printers to the CAD Micro suite of additive manufacturing solutions. Join us as we delve into the offerings of recently onboarded partners: Mosaic Manufacturing and One Click Metal, showcasing how these collaborations enhance our commitment to advancing additive manufacturing in Canada.

We continue to expand our offerings! In 2023 we’ve partnered with several industry 4.0 technology leaders and were able to add several product offerings to our portfolio. In this article we will explore these new products and why they make a great addition to the CAD Micro suite of products.

Mosaic Manufacturing

Mosaic Manufacturing offers a unique technology on multi material fused filament fabrication (FFF) that allows users to print with 8 different materials at the same time. In addition to multi material capabilities, Element HT units allow users to print with high temperature materials up to 500c.

One of the most interesting that Mosaic Manufacturing offers is their automated 3D printing unit called Array. Array holds 4x printers that can be configured based on users’ preference on using Element or Element HT, or a mix. Using an automated robotic arm, the Array will take out finished printed parts and put them inside a material cart. Then a new build plate is inserted into the printer and the printing process can continue without user input. This allows for continuous printing operations to increase throughput and lower cost per part.

This makes array a perfect system for makerspaces, service bureaus where the printing demands are high but the cost per part. This will simplify users work and the only thing they need to do is to queue the print jobs to the array and wait until all the different printed parts are finished. The build cart can also be taken out of array mid-print and be replaced with an empty cart so that the printing operation continues.

One Click Metal

Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) is one of the most adopted and trusted metal additive manufacturing technologies. As a result, a lot of organizations have adopted this technology for various applications including Aerospace, Space, Medical, Automotive and Research.

Previously, the high capital investment, material handling challenges and lack of technical expertise were a big concern causing some obstacles in the adoption of metal powder bed technologies. One Click Metal is one of the unique companies that is set to address all the challenges involved in adopting metal technologies by offering an affordable, safe and easy to use metal printer.

CAD MicroSolutions Inc. is your ultimate partner for innovation. We are constantly networking and adding new products to our portfolio of offerings so that we can provide a full suite of complementary technologies to our customers. Stay tuned for more!
