LENGTH: 2 Days
DESCRIPTION:
During this two-day course, participants will learn the fundamental strategies for working with an ATOS sensor and ATOS Professional software, and includes a module on acquisition and a module on inspection.
PREREQUISITES:
- Basic knowledge of coordinate measuring technology
- Basic computer skills
DESCRIPTION:
In this training, you will get to know the complete process for creating and executing automation projects from scratch to the final mesh. During the hands-on exercises with different real parts at the measuring cell and offline, you will train by yourself with ease.
TOPICS COVERED:
- Operate the ATOS/ZEISS ScanBox/ZEISS ScanCobot safely
- Create a VMR project template from scratch
- Measure objects automatically
- Work with photogrammetry
Optimize measurements
LENGTH: 2 Days
DESCRIPTION:
In this training Course, participants will learn how to create CAD models from 3D scans faster, more accurately and reliably than any other reverse-engineering software, create complex hybrid 3D models for solid, surface, and mesh, transfer directly to your CAD environment and create native files to accurately represent a scanned object with full design history.
TOPICS COVERED:
- Introduction to the software and its user interface
- Point and Polygon Editing
- Alignment- Scan-to-Global, Scan-to-Scan, Scan-to-CAD
- Sketching and Modeling from Mesh data
- Accuracy Analyzer
- Different R/E Modeling Techniques
DESCRIPTION:
In this training course, you will learn how to realize GD&T inspections in the ZEISS Software. This includes the creation of datum systems on geometrical elements as well as on freeform surfaces. During the training, you will learn to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge practically in the ZEISS software. You will evaluate different parts based on the respective design drawings. This way, you get to know the analysis options and the different computation methods in detail in the ZEISS software. During the last part of the training, you have the opportunity to ask specific questions or to bring along and discuss requirements and drawings.
TOPICS COVERED:
- GD&T inspections and result visualization
- Quick creation for GD&T checks
- Applying alignment methods and datum systems
- Working with material requirements
- Handling of international standards (ASME, ISO)
LENGTH: 3 Days
DESCRIPTION:
In this training course, participants learn how to inspect 3D measuring data that was digitized with an ATOS system in the ZEISS software. The evaluation is either carried out in the ZEISS Inspect Professional software or in the ATOS Professional software. Participants perform inspection tasks of varying complexity and analyze, for example, the distances, diameters and angles of the measuring object.
TOPICS COVERED:
- Introduction to the software, import of scan data
- Simple inspection and parametric inspection
- Measuring principles and element dependencies
- Basic principles of alignments
- Project templates and inspection planning
- Trend analyses and statistic parameters
- Reporting and data import and export
LENGTH: 8 Hours
DESCRIPTION:
This training course provides an introduction to the functionalities in ZEISS Inspect. It is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part (the exercises). The exercises allow you to put what you learned into practice, thus providing a hands-on training. During this eight-hour course, participants will learn how to inspect 3D measuring data that was digitized with an ATOS system on ZEISS software. The evaluation can either be performed in ZEISS Inspect Professional software or in ATOS Professional software.
Participants perform inspection tasks of varying complexity and analyze the results, including distances, diameters and angles.
TOPICS:
- Introduction to the free software and its user interface
- Data import
- Simple inspection
- Dimensional inspection
- Reporting
- Alignments
PREREQUISITES:
- Basic knowledge of coordinate measuring technology
- Basic computer skills
